I love all people regardless of ethnicity, but I also understand the problems that illegal immigration is causing. How do we deal with this without creating a racial/ethnic divide?
I also wanted to mention that, when people encourage Latino and Hispanic Americans to learn English, they're not really being racist. Not learning English will put you at a huge disadvantage in America. How can we deal with illegal immigration without being considered racist?
Start a war with Mexico, then it will be patriotism rather than racism. How can we deal with illegal immigration without being considered racist?
There is no way. It's a fashion and it will be past us soon.
Kick ALL ILLEGALS out. That eliminates the race profiling. We already do that, but the Hispanics who support the illegals haven't caught on yet
End birthright citizenship

Be straight forward and tell people to learn the local language and get a work visa. But i'm a kid. So it might not work the simple.
Ignore all liberals, they're the ones trying to make enforcing the law a racist activity.
We can't. It's an imperfect world and there's always going to be people who cry racism even in situations where it isn't present.
By not letting people break the law in the first place.
Yea- who would have thought asking for papers or ID while being stopped for a crime, could be considered racist.
simple : we go after the Americans that hire illegals.
Any argument in which we are against illegals, they are taught by propaganda groups to cry racism. But it is okay for them to only want amnesty for certain people. I am to the point, call me what you will, but at least I am called LEGAL.I look at the sources and then have to laugh because this excuse is hilarious. Watch how many claim it here. I love how they tell American Indians and Blacks we are all racist. If anyone knows what the word means it is us. I have a nephew who is a Black American, he thought this was funny when I showed him some of the remarks that people on here have left or some of the crude e-mails I have received.
Are you in your personal life a racist? My guess is no. So don't worry about being called a name. Sticks and stones and all that. Actions do in fact speak louder then words. Show ';them'; who you are.
The other thing is that hispanics are caucasian. Pay no attention to the man in La casa blanco...he's a dummy. Stand up for Americans and the American way of life and I promise we will be there to put the country back where it was intended to be.
Rainbow Girl, we can檛 support enforcing our nation檚 immigration laws, deporting illegal aliens, and opposing a mass amnesty for illegal aliens without being called racist by left wingers and by Hispanic supremacists like those in NCLR, MECHA, and Brown Berets. Liberals routinely slander and libel Republicans and conservatives, but we must do what we believe is right, even if it means being called a racist by a fanatical left winger, or a Hispanic supremacist.
Ask the haters this, ';if the majority of illegal aliens weren't Hispanics but Europeans, would Hispanics still favor open borders and amnesty for illegals.'; Of course, you know the answer!!!
There is no way, period.
I seen people using the ';race'; card to avoid real issues.. Its really sad.. They missed the point... :( and they always say.. ';the white folks are wrong'; Its like, People don't hear what the problem is.... Its not about racism.. Its about doing something illegal.. and I found out, today, many people in Arizona were murdered by illegals.. I am surprised, the media didn't say this.. hmmm
I try to look at this whole illegal border crossing and AZ's answer to it in a much smaller picture.
Imagine that your at the airport getting ready to take a flight on the new Liberal airlines! As your standing in line to do security checks you notice that a percentage of people are bypassing all security checks. This includes all of their baggage ,no Id check, metal detector and no pat down. You watch this as it becomes your turn %26amp; ask the security officer why these people can get on the aircraft with out being checked. His answer is: We can not check them because there is just to many of them and if we do catch one, we will be accused of profiling. The security officer then adds, just move along and shut your mouth or they will call you a racist!
You finally make it to your seat on the plane, it then takes off and climbs to 46,000 ft.You settle in for a 14 hour flight just as the flight attendant starts to pass out the food. suddenly the pilot comes on the ics. '; good morning ladies and Gents, I'm your captain and would like to welcome you aboard LIBERAL AIRLINES. The newest and easiest airlines to fly. I have some light information for you! We will be cruising at 550 mph and at an altitude of 46,000 ft. We do not ask for Id here or really care who is setting next to you! The lovely attendances will be serving your dinner soon, that 75% of it was made under strict USA FDA policy the other 25% we are not sure of. Oh, by the way, You have the safety of 3 pilots up here in the cockpit, but 1 of us has no documentation. We are pretty sure he's not drunk and a pilot. Let me tell you a little bit about your state of the art aircraft! This is the new and in proved OPEN BOARDER 2010 It has easy access boarding %26amp; unboarding. The aircraft its self has over 1 billion parts and components, 20 million of those parts are undocumented, untested and we have no idea where they came from! But hey, that's really just an estimate and such a small number!
Please just set back close your eyes and everything will be ok! Please for the sake of the unknown passengers, do not hit your alarm button or even ask who they maybe!
Well, ..., we do need to deal with the problem at many levels:
1) The way that illegals are treated in this country now is quite unfair. Under the current system, they have no rights. They are not entitled to fair pay, fair compensation when injured at work, or decent medical treatment when injured. We treat them worse than a slavery class. So from a humanitarian viewpoint we need to address this issue. I don't have the answer but I certainly like the registered worker idea. This, at least, allows us to allocate funds from the Federal and State levels to bolster local infrastructure and to demand that the worker be treated in a fair and equitable way.
2) Legal issues also pose a problem. An illegal may not be able to get a drivers license and therefore insurance, yet drive cars and trucks on our roadways clueless of our driving laws of yield, right-of-way, and good driving practices. As a result, any accident involving illegals generally will not pay out because there is no insurance to collect and, since they're poor, there's no way that a person injured by an illegal can be compensated.
3) Look at other countries: I can't enter any country on this planet including Mexico or Canada with out a valid passport else I'll wind up in jail. Canadian Jail might not be too bad but I never want to go to a Mexican jail. In all seriousness, those, counties have made it very uncomfortable for me to enter illegally. Mexico's laws are tougher than ours. Over there, in a business environment Non-citizens can't number more than a very few and the rest must be citizens. Over here it's the opposite, very few employees in certain business structures are comprised of U.S. citizens and the majority are illegal. In other words every county in the world issues protectionists laws from their employees EXCEPT for the United States. So why are we getting upset when our government officials simply enforce the law?
4) The real problem is we tolerated illegal entry (in part because we were looking to grow our nation) so there's a culture and history of not enforcing immigration laws. Now that these laws are being systematically enforced, suddenly, we're aghast their harsh cruelty and there's a public outcry. The fact of the matter is they're neither harsh, cruel, or prejudicial especially when compared to the illegal immigration and protectionist laws of other countries (especially to our north and south), we're really quite kind. It's just that now the law is being enforced as it should be.
Well, unfortunately, in order to be politically correct, immigration would have to go to ALL doors, including the ones in rich white neighborhoods, and ask for proof of legal immigrant/citizen status. Billions of dollars would be wasted, but if they searched everyone in the country, we would eventually get rid of the illegals.
Its like this the reason certain ppl or the majority of ppl r being called racist is becus u r single-ling out one particular group technically speaking MEXICANs when in reality we have a serious problem with immigration from all walks of life we need to enforce our borders from all sides of the United States in order to address this problem. We need to stop government funding to ALL immigrants, Not just one group. Alot of immigrants resort to welfare and so on becus we r not allowing them to even get a job. The issue is for the immigrants here already if u havent commited a serious crime why not get them out of welfare and provide them with the ability to get job. The government will stop with the funding and actually benefit from taxes give them the right to work and enforce a law consisting u pay taxes or u will b returned to ur country I help u, u help me.. But the first step is to enforce the borders create more jobs as security is need in our borders it needs to stop.
they have no right to call us racist... the have no right to be here...
Well use the same tactic the FBI uses to bust up organized crime.
Which is give amnesty and rewards to the people at the bottom (the illegals) to become informants and testify against the ones who are in charge and the source of the problem (those who hire illegals).
If there is an incentive to give illegals to turn on their employers, no one will want to hire them out of fear of prosecution and will not trust illegals they hire because illegals would have a strong incentive to turn them in. No Jobs = illegals going home.
Seeing how those who hire them are most likely white people (and I have seen how they get treated. Its like underground slavery) and those getting good treatment or cooperating are not white, it would knock the legs out from under neath the ones screaming ';racist!';.
These incentives would be points toward citizenship based on how much information they gather on those who hire them, a guaranteed path to legal residency if they testify more then once against multiple employers who hire illegals and gangs that smuggle them in and that lead to actual convictions. If their assistance brings about big enough results, they would be granted a monthly stipend (about 100 dollars) for the next two years and real citizenship after they pass the citizenship test. How can I be considered racist if I am offering them money to turn in their evil white capitalistic employers who treat them like slaves?
I would also simplify and lessen the tax burden on businesses when it comes to hiring people. It is not the lower amount these people pay out. They pay the same to illegals as they do with American workers. It is the complexity and cost due to taxes and legal red tape that encourages business to hire undocumented workers. Get rid of the incentive to break the law, well then there would be less people breaking it.
I would reform the current immigration law. It is confusing, ad-hoc, conflicting, unfair and racist. Depending on where a person is from determines how long they have to wait ti become a citizen. For a Hispanic it is 15 years. For immigrants from Europe, it is less then that. On top of that, one has to wait to get in line before such a wait begins. Once the quota of people allowed to start the process of immigration to the US fills up, that is it, no more people are allowed to start the process or they will be rejected. I rather have no quotas, I rather have a uniform, fair, simple to understand, and efficient set of laws instead of what is currently in place now. It would not involve amnesty, but it will consider people based on their skills. If it is a doctor, then the doctor will be allowed in head of the line instead of a unskilled worker. This would be more fair and advantageous to both the nation and to those who wish to come here and make for themselves a better life.
The final thing is end America's drug war. Half the reason people are coming to the US is to flee the Drug War between the Narco cartels and the Mexican government. Anyone with half a brain usually want to run away from a war zone, and these people are no different. The source of these cartels power is drug money. End the drug war, legalize it, tax it and suddenly these cartels will be greatly weakened. In the mean time, the money earn from the taxation can be used for counter terror operations to cut the Narco-cartels down to even smaller size. It can be used to help stabilize America's southern neighbor's and help them grow and prosper, thus create more opportunity and jobs in their country. When this happens, this would give undocumented workers less reason to come here.
This would be my complete plan on resolving the immigration issue.
