How am I supposed to deal with love?

I love this guy and I have always been there for him, protected him, supported him and thought he had so much potential. We used to be close and he always winked at me, waved, smiled, and wrote to me. We are at the same school. I always told him that I love him, and once he told me he loved me. Now he won't do anything to me, if he does see me, he turns away and I don't know why. We are just friends but I love him more than anything. He doesn't understand how much I love him and I think I'm the only person that loves him more than a friend because everyone calls him ugly and a bad person. I'm like his Guardian Angel. Why does he ignore me?How am I supposed to deal with love?
I think he lacks confidence and he doesn't think that he deserves someone as wonderful as you! He really likes you but sees it as hopeless because he doesn't like himself.

If I were you I would go after him and tell him how you feel about him and try to find out how he feels about you. He is very shy and scared so go easy on him.

He's definitely not into you the way you are into him. Not all feelings can be mutual. But it's ok. Tell him nicely not to run away from you, and that you'll treat him like you usually do. Honestly, once they start missing the special affection you showed them, they'll come back running to you. It's always like that.

maybe it's because of the taunts....him ugly you angel...and he as a man suppose to protect, support..etc for you not the other way around....that's why maybe he fleats whenever you are near

hmm... i'm not sure why he's turning away from you. maybe its because you said the L word. I know what your going through, 2 years ago when i was a junior this guy was a sophomore? if i remember correctly, his name is Don. He did the same crap to me, I did everything in the world for him. But then he stopped talking to me after he found out that I was cutting myself again. I still talk to him now after my being not in love with him anymore. But I know what you're going through and it sucks. You either might have scared him or his a womanizer... like Don is. lol. I'd just cool off for a bit and see what happens, give it some time if he doesn't come to you, then go to him. and ask him what the he*l is up. lol good luck dear
Just sit down with him and talk to him about your feelings towards him and discuss how both of you should proceed from here. Don't play hide-and-seek in this situation. May be he has the reasons that he wanna hide from you. Solve this problem in a matured and good way.
Have you hurt his ego any time, knowingly or unknowingly. If answer is no, then it is very clear that he avoiding you, only to get away from you. As you have said, you supported a lot, when he really needed. His purpose is now served. He do not need you any more. That shows, he was not in love with you anytime earlier, will not be in future also.
