HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH A LOVE ONE THAT HAS MS MY WIFE HAS HAD IT FOR 8 YRS AN IT IS REALLY GETTING TO ME.?

she has had it for 8yrs an it is really getting bad on her. I am worried alot about her.HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH A LOVE ONE THAT HAS MS MY WIFE HAS HAD IT FOR 8 YRS AN IT IS REALLY GETTING TO ME.?
I have had MS for many years . Luckily I do very well with My MS, but have watched others that struggle..There are times I believe that it's as hard if not harder on the caregivers.

Do you have any family or friends nearby that could help you ?Even regular afternoons off may help refresh you physically.

Emotionally, That's harder for me to answer. MS is a very manageable disease for the most part, but when it's bad , it's really bad. and watching a loved one has to be emotionally draining.I would seek out a good support group and possibly a psychologist for not only you but your wife as well..It may be beneficial to both of you

good LuckHOW DO YOU DEAL WITH A LOVE ONE THAT HAS MS MY WIFE HAS HAD IT FOR 8 YRS AN IT IS REALLY GETTING TO ME.?
my heart goes out to you,all i can say is prayer.God bless
Perhaps you should seek counseling. Either on your own, or together with your wife. A therapist can help you see things from a different angle, and help you pinpoint root causes of problems. MS is a hard disease to live with, you and your wife must be very strong. Good luck to both of you.
Check to see if there are support groups in your area.

Yeah, it's hard on the caretaker, but keep remembering how SHE feels. Speaking from experience, MS SUCKS!
